About AMLF

A Million Little Fires began in Los Angeles in 2016, but the road to becoming a band was anything but direct. As life pulled in different directions, the project went quiet until frontman Jay Haggis returned to the studio in 2022. Reworking older material became the way back in. Those songs evolved into Sanction’d, released in March 2023, marking a fresh start rather than a comeback.

The Aspects & Echoes EP followed in 2024, with Violent Halos arriving in 2025. Each release expanded the band’s reach, building momentum and connecting with a growing audience.

The project took yet another step forward with the additions of Dylan Howard (drums), Greg Cash (bass), and

Sebastien Betley (guitar). Together, the lineup has solidified into a band that’s less interested in fitting into a genre than pushing against it.

Pulling from modern metal, hard rock, electronic textures, and cinematic influences, their music thrives on contrast – crushing riffs, massive rhythms, emotional hooks, and lyrics that don’t hide behind clichés. The result is “aggressive” without sacrificing atmosphere, “melodic” without losing its edge. Music that’s heavy, expansive, and authentic.

A Million Little Fires: Live From The Troubadour is out now… and the band is back in the studio working on its next chapter, with new music slated for early 2027.
