For A Million Little Fires, the music started in 2016 but life, as always, got in the way. Other endeavors and responsibilities forced a hiatus until frontman Jay Douglas returned to the studio in 2022. The “reimagining” of a collection of older songs was utilized to knock the rust off. The collection became the Sanction’d album and was released in March of 2023.
